Mo arata nalini banaku kala dalana .

(1) O’Lord of the Blue Mountain(Sri Nilachala mountain) , O’ blue mountain personified , Krishna, Jagannath, ! Almighty, stimulant elephant,
Do chum my afflicted lotus – pond.
(2)Gajaraja Chinta kala thai ghora jalena ,
chakra pesi nakra nasi uddharila apana …Ahe nila Saila
(2)The king elephant prayed in the troubled water.
Thou saved him killing the crocodile by Sudarshan.
(3)Ghora bane mruguni padithila kasana ,
Kede bada bippati ru kariacha tarana …..

Thou protected her from such great peril.
